Each summer, the TN Chapter of ASBDA, in tandem with the Tennessee Bandmasters Association, hosts a summer gathering to bring together band directors from across the state of Tennessee. The symposium provides a valuable professional development opportunity, and work begun at the TN Band Caucus meetings during the Tennessee Music Educators Association annual In-Service Conference in April is furthered.
The 2019 TBA/ASBDA Summer Symposium and Forum will be held Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1, (following the Young Directors Symposium on Thursday, May 30) at Freedom Middle School in Franklin, TN.
